“Alla frutta” is an Italian expression meaning “to be at the end of one’s rope” — that moment when you’ve run out of energy or ideas, and the only way forward is to return to the essence of creativity and imagination. These are days dedicated to creativity at MCP. From this feeling comes the need for Mercati Culturali Pordenone to go back to its roots and, for one day, once again become a place of exchange — with markets featuring artisans and artists, workshops for every taste, hot chocolate for the bold, and music for light-hearted souls.

10:00 – 13:00 | “Pupazzi brutti per tuttə” Laboratorio a cura di Upata
In this open workshop, the illustrator and animator Upata will guide participants in creating small puppets using reclaimed fabrics. No specific sewing skills are required—just a strong desire to experiment and try your hand at making a puppet to give as a gift or to keep for yourself.

10:00 – 13:00 | Laboratorio di primavera per bambinə
Together we will flip through illustrated books about caterpillars and butterflies, observing these little friends who herald the arrival of the warm season. Using geometric-shaped stamps, we will create cheerful caterpillars on long sheets of cardstock: the stamped shapes, placed close together or far apart, can turn into spiky, funny, and imaginative caterpillars.
