Performance – Il Primo Appuntamento

What happens when we fall in love? Science suggests a series of chemical reactions are triggered, activated by hormones and neurotransmitters in our nervous system. The closing performance of the workshop held by photographer and visual artist Giulia Iacolutti at the Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Pordenone invites us to recognize the importance of affection, care, and pleasure for the well-being of individuals and communities.

The eight participants engaged the audience in a series of eight exercises, exploring what it means to "fall in love" through a wide range of emotions: hugs, secrets, visions, and physical exchanges of energy. An intense, shared, and authentic experience that engaged both performers and audience.
