It ceased to hurt me

Matteo Buonomo presents "It Ceased to Hurt Me," an exhibition resulting from his week-long residency at Mercati Culturali Pordenone. This exhibition evokes suspended landscapes and veiled emotions through four large-scale prints, allowing visitors to immerse themselves intimately in the artist's imagination.

Taken in the Magredi del Cellina area, the analog photographs were then developed and digitized in the Mercati Culturali spaces, which were transformed for a few days into a small darkroom.

Buonomo invites us to look with fresh eyes at a geography familiar to many, yet which in this recollection evokes peculiar atmospheres, pursuing a state of melancholic bewilderment.
