Residenza fotografica: Matteo Buonomo

Matteo Buonomo (Monza, 1991) is a photographer living in the Valle di Noto, Sicily. After graduating from NABA in Milan, he joined the CESURA collective, collaborating with Gabriele Micalizzi and Alex Majoli (MAGNUM). His work, focused on the photobook, combines visual storytelling and introspection. He has created projects in Siberia (I Don’t Try to Feel Awake Anymore) and the USA (Love Mom). Since 2020, he has been developing the project All These Goodbyes in Sicily. Winner of Italian Panorama by Vogue Italia (2022), he is among the photographers selected for FUTURES PHOTOGRAPHY 2025 by CAMERA.
