Presentazione libro: Per aspera ad astra

On November 4th at the Pordenone Cultural Markets, we immersed ourselves in the imagination of Lorenzo Fonda and his autobiographical diary, which recounts the year of his life following the death of Elena Xausa, his wife.

He spoke to us about so many things: about emptiness and absence, about the intimacy between two people, about the strength of a community. And about how, even in the most remote and desolate places in the world (read: Kansas), you can find the coolest mottos: Per aspera ad astra.

As Davide Toffolo suggested, Per aspera ad astra is a great comic because it makes you think, entertains you, and teaches you something new.

Last night we reflected, laughed, and learned something new.

It was an important moment in building a space that is still being created—thanks to Lorenzo Fonda and Davide Toffolo for your depth (because "sensitivity" wouldn't do it justice).
